ABOUT MARIE DANIELLE LEBLANC

Marie-Danielle Leblanc is a Canadian artist based in Montréal, Québec, where she has lived and worked since 1990. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the Université du Québec à Montréal and works across a variety of media, including painting, screen printing, digital imaging, and photography.

Throughout her career, she has participated in over thirty solo exhibitions and more than fifty group shows. Her work has been presented in galleries in Montréal, Toronto, Vancouver, New York, Paris, and Sydney, as well as in major international art fairs in New York, Miami, London, Milan, Barcelona, Brussels, Amsterdam, Hamburg, Stockholm, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore, Seoul, and Tokyo.

Her achievements include First Prize at the Salon 2010 in Paris (Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts) and at the Montreal Art Festival, as well as a creation grant from the Atelier de l’Île de Val-David in Québec.

Marie-Danielle Leblanc’s work is part of corporate and private collections, appears in film productions, and graces the covers of books published by Éditions du Boréal, Éditions Québec/Amérique, and Éditions du Renouveau Pédagogique, three of Québec’s largest publishing houses.
